Nisa retailers and suppliers honoured at spectacular gala dinner
Outstanding Nisa retailers and suppliers were celebrated at the 2023 Nisa Expo with a spectacular Alice in Wonderland themed gala dinner.
Taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, the black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony concluded the first day of the two-day Expo attended by suppliers, retailers and Nisa and Co-op colleagues.
Hundreds of guests attended the awards evening, which saw a host of Nisa retailers as well as suppliers recognised for their retailing excellence, with 15 awards announced.

Retailers presented with Nisa Expo awards on the night were:
Own Brand Retailer of the Year - Chartwell Barns

Newcomer of the Year - MPK Garages

Store Development of the Year (Independent/Dual Branded) - Kenny’s Food Fare, Kilrea

Store Development of the Year (Symbol Fascia) - Torridon Convenience

Forecourt Store of the Year – Ascona, Machynlleth

Convenience Store of the Year - Bradley's, Rothley

Large Store of the Year - Newell Stores, Dungannon

MADL Charity Champion of the Year (Large Store) - Proudfoot Group and Pricewatch Limited

MADL Charity Champion of the Year (Small Store) - H&Jodies

Tout’s Cleeve were also awarded a special recognition award following an unprecedented year of success for the forecourt retailer.

In addition, five suppliers were acknowledged for their outstanding levels of service to the business over the last 12 months:
Central Invoicing/Direct to Store Supplier of the Year - Aquavape

Fresh Supplier of the Year – Huel

Frozen Supplier of the Year - Unilever Ice Cream

Grocery Supplier of the Year – Nestle Beverages

Licensed & Tobacco Supplier of the Year – Budweiser Brewing Group
